Visio Divina Conference
The Visio Divina Conference brings folks together over a weekend to learn about using Visual Art as a spiritual formation practice. Main sessions feature worship and a keynote speaker and breakout sessions allow for contemplative art-making, Visio Divina practices, and spiritual art in history.
Research
My research project for my Doctor of Ministry was focused on using Visual Art for Spiritual Formation, specifically in the Church of Christ, but the research is likely applicable to many Protestant denominations. I was honored to be invited to present my dissertation for peer review at The Christian Scholars Conference in 2023.
Consulting
I love exploring connections of faith, visual art, creativity, imagination, theology, art history, art making and the Christian experience. As a researcher, artist and ministry consultant, I desire to come along side church leaders and ministry groups to demystify our aesthetic theology and create intentional environments and experiences using visual art for spiritual formation.
